The NRHS has reserved blocks of rooms at five different hotel properties on the south side of Cedar Rapids. The Clarion is the official headquarters hotel and has the largest block of rooms.
The following hotels are now taking reservations for the 2012 NRHS Convention. Each features a free breakfast starting two hours before the day's first event, free parking, and free internet services. Each hotel is located at the 33rd Avenue exit off of I-380 (Exit #17) on the south side of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Please contact the hotel of your choice directly and mention the NRHS Convention for their special rate.
Rooms are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 6% and 7% lodging fee) in effect at the time of check-in. Generally, the hotels will allow anyone wishing to arrival prior to the official start day of the room block to use the group discount for up to seven (7) days prior. Hotels will also generally allow anyone wishing to stay after the official end day of the room block to continue to use the group discount for a period of seven (7) days.
All convention event bus departures and arrivals will take place at the Clarion Hotel. All meetings and seminars will take place at the Clarion meeting facilities. Participants who have concerns about a one block walk before and after events should reserve their rooms at the Clarion.

This is the main convention hotel where all NRHS functions will be based, including the business meetings and banquet. The hotel features a wide range of amenities, including complimentary hot breakfast, heated indoor pool, business center, and complimentary airport shuttle. Additionally, the Clarion features Synergy, their onsite restaurant. Elevators serve each floor. The hotel rate is $97 a night.
Holiday Inn Express 3320 Southgate Court Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404 Hotel Direct: 1-319-399-5025
This hotel is just east of the Clarion Hotel & Convention Center. The hotel features a cooked breakfast as well as their famous cinnamon rolls. It also features a 24-hour, staffed business center, copy and print services, as well as an indoor pool, whirlpool, work out facility, and an on-site guest laundry facility. The hotel rate is $97 a night.
Hampton Inn 3265 6th Street SW Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404 Hotel Direct: 319-364-8144
This hotel is located across the street from the Clarion Hotel & Convention Center. A cooked breakfast is available each day, as well as the Hampton "On the Go™ Beakfast Bags." The hotel also has a guest laundry, pool and fitness room, business center, and elevators. The hotel rate is $97 a night.

This brand new hotel is only 2 blocks from the NRHS Convention hotel. It includes a Corner Market convenience store, state-of-the-art fitness center, in-door pool and spa, complimentary wireless high-speed internet, a business center, free parking, and a free hot breakfast. The preferred NRHS rate is $99.00 per night for either 1 king or 2 queen beds, with flat screen TV’s in every guest room featuring premium cable channels.

The Red Roof Inn, the old Fairfield Inn, is located 4 short blocks from NRHS Convention hotel and is an excellent alternative for those needing lower cost lodging. At $50 a night, the hotel features a complimentary light continental breakfast (coffee, juice, toast, waffles, and an apple), free high-speed WiFi and parking, elevator to all floors, and a heated outdoor swimming pool.
